I'll start with the fact that I'm a tea novice, but luckily Rhea at the counter was super helpful with her recommendations. Got the Phoenix Oolong tea latte with boba off of her suggestion, and she crushed it. It was delicious! Already told my wife (who knows her tea better than me) that I need to bring her back here soon.

This tea shop has opened for about a year and we're glad to discover it today. It's now my favorite choice for tea drinks. When you enter, you will be immediately greeted by the wonderful fragrant smell of tea that permeates this cozy yet trendy shop. There are tea leaf samples to check out before you decide on your drinks. The staff is very friendly and we didn't wait long to get our drinks. We ordered Rose Quanyin milk tea with 30% sugar level and it's so good. I enjoy the freshly brewed tea and the agar toppings. The jasmine green tea is also very good.

On the counter, there's a variety of loose tea leaves to smell before buying the drink. The smell of each one was excellent but I ended up going with the rose guanyin with boba. It is one of the few rose drinks I've had that did not feel like I'm chugging from a perfume bottle. Boba texture could be firmer, but still enjoyable. There were so many other selections and honestly, I'm only writing this review so I can remember to come back if I'm ever back in the area.

Roasted oolong milk tea was so aesthetic and I had my doubts about how creamy it would be but mannnnnn it was sooooo good!! Kumquat lemon jasmine tea at the same level of sweetness (50%) as the roasted oolong tasted like 100% sweet. Flavor was aight. I think the milk teas are where itβs at here. The only con would be how busy this plaza is and how difficult parking can get during peak times.

Both Bako locations are great! Consistent boba texture. However, appears to be a tad "watered down" or lighter vs other location. Perhaps tea heavy at this location is less milk or something else, which made it seem lighter? However, Aroma and fragrance remain great. 4.5* overall for first visit but will return if in the area.
